Starting Out: Dual Sight’s Journey

We’ve made it! 🎉

Dual Sight Training is officially live, and what a journey it has been!

It all started with an idea from Sabrina, who had always envisioned creating a training arm for her business, Savanne. But the real turning point came when I reached out to her for advice on setting up as a consultant on my own. Instead of simply offering guidance, Sabrina proposed something even bigger—a training collaboration.  What an opportunity!  How could I say no?  And just like that, Dual Sight was born!

Why Dual Sight?

Although we have crossed paths before—Sabrina as a BRCGS auditor and me as her auditee — working together as partners was a new adventure. But from the start, it just clicked.

What made it work so seamlessly?

A shared drive, work ethic, and passion for what we do. We both set high standards and bring different but complementary strengths to the table:

✅ Sabrina, the auditor, with years of expertise and insight from assessing businesses.

✅ Myself, the auditee, with deep technical knowledge and hands-on food manufacturing experience.

This unique blend of perspectives is exactly how the name Dual Sight came to be—representing our dual expertise and shared vision, but also from our dual viewpoints from what we have both seen and experienced at numerous production sites during our combined 50+ years in the industry.
