It's a Wrap: One Year of Dual Sight Training 🎬✨

One year ago, Dual Sight Training was born out of necessity—and a spark of vision. Training requests were growing, and Sabrina knew it was time to create something impartial, something that allowed Helen to deliver her expertise without any conflict of interest. But more than that, our vision was clear: to bring learning to life. We set out to build on the cultures and practices already thriving within our clients’ sites, because when a company asks for training, it’s a sign of ambition, of wanting to grow.

The one thing that has always worked well between us is the way we met: auditor and audited. Sabrina was the auditor, Helen the technical lead who embraced audits with openness and professionalism. From that very first encounter, mutual respect was established, and boundaries were set—and they’ve never changed. We still go about our own consultancy work, but when we come together for Dual Sight Training, that’s where the fun begins. It’s where we tap into our creative side, discover new skills, and constantly ask ourselves: what worked, what can we do better, and how can we make learning stick?

Lights, Camera, Action

Last week, as we prepared for our next bespoke workshop, Sabrina took to script writing for our brilliant actors India Windsor and Dean Witham. Her natural ‘bossy’ side made a star appearance (along with props, of course), and the rehearsal room was filled with energy, creativity, and a few giggles. The filming proved exactly why we started this journey—fun was had, bloopers and all! Despite the ongoing IT hiccups, our passion for delivering impactful training hasn’t wavered. We’re still here, still crafting sessions that bring food safety learning to life.

And whilst Sabrina remembers many a year where, just a few days before Christmas, she had to step in and support clients with trouble‑sorting in full crisis management mode—always ready to steady the ship—she typically likes to wind down in Operation Christmas Chocolate Fudge mode, a tradition she’s kept alive for more than 10 years now.

Meanwhile, Helen is firmly in BRCGS preparations mode, assisting one of her consultancy clients with their upcoming audit. It’s a perfect snapshot of how our partnership balances festive fun with technical focus, creativity with compliance.

New Frontiers

This year also marked another milestone: the launch of our new website, designed by the extremely talented Damian Jackson. His creativity and eye for detail gave Dual Sight Training a digital home that reflects who we are—professional, approachable, and just a little bit playful. It’s a space where our clients can connect with us, explore our services, and see how we bring learning to life.

Because the food safety never stops, but as we come to the end of 2025 and many indulge in festive cheer, we pause to reflect with gratitude.

From both of us, Sabrina and Helen, co‑founders of Dual Sight Training, we’d like to wish you:

  • A very Merry Christmas

  • An incident‑free festive season

  • And above all, good health and peace as we look ahead to 2026

Past, Present, Future

So here’s to everyone who’s liked, shared, cheered us on, and believed in what we’re building. To our creative and marketing duo Damian Jackson and India Windsor, our families who continue to support two menopausal women who show absolutely no signs of stopping—and to Dean Witham, our part‑time resident actor who has a very important job in the travel industry but kindly lends us his acting skills whenever we ask—thank you.

We’re proud of what we’ve built. We’re excited for what’s next. And we’re grateful for every step of the journey.

“Training isn’t just taught, it’s performed — and we’re still writing the next act.”
